I Bought the Leather Leggings that Everyone Raves About & You Should Too

Hello loves! If you follow other fashion bloggers on Instagram, you’ve probably heard about these leather leggings by SPANX. I wasn’t sure why everyone constantly raved about these leggings, but after I got a pair for Christmas, I understand the hype. These leggings are a game changer, and the perfect basic piece that would be a great addition to literally anyone’s wardrobe.

I had falling in love with the look of leather leggings, and thought they would be an easy way to add some spice to my daily casual outfits. When I was looking at pairs to get, no leather leggings were talked about more on Instagram or more positively reviewed online (these beauties have 4.5 stars and over 2000 reviews on the Nordstrom site). I’m SO glad these are now in my collection.

The leggings come in sizes XS-XL (I’m a small), retail for $98, and come in a few other colors besides black. The high waisted silhouette allows everything to be sucked in and is extremely flattering. While traditional SPANX shape wear is uncomfy (in my opinion), these leggings highlight your figure without compromising on comfort. Instead of being a true faux leather (which can be uncomfortable) these leggings are made from a super soft material that is stretchy, yet looks like leather.

These leggings can be dressed up or down, depending on what you pair them with. I love pairing mine with a sweater and sneakers for the perfect casual yet polished look. I think these will be perfect this semester for when I want to look a bit more put together for class, but I still want the comfort of wearing leggings. Although these leggings are extremely versatile, I wouldn’t suggest working out in them because that is not their intended use and personally I would get too hot and sweaty.
