Retailers With Birthday Discounts
Hello loves! Since October is my birthday month, I thought it would be fun and useful to share with y’all my favorite retailers that offer birthday gifts and discounts. My birthday is on Halloween (hence I was pumpkin shopping for my Halloween party that I’m throwing in the photo below), so I have the entire month to soak up the birthday discounts! I think these discounts are definitely worth signing up for rewards programs to receive, and are the perfect excuse to treat yourself during your birthday month! I’ve updated this post for 2019 and included some of the products that I might be using my discounts on. Without further adieu, let’s hop into the list.
Although Sephora doesn’t offer a birthday discount, they do offer a birthday gift that you can walk in receive without being required to make a purchase. I haven’t claimed mine yet this year, but I looked at the choices and I’ll probably go with either the mini Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray, or the mini Drunk Elephant cleanser and moisturizer set.
Ulta just recently changed their birthday discount to be $10 off instead of 20% off your purchase… which is still fantastic! Unlike normal Ulta coupons that have restrictions on what you can and can’t use the discount on, you’re able to use the birthday discount on anything! I’ll probably stock up on some of my basics that don’t usually go on sale.
I just learned about this birthday over the summer, when I was asked to join the SM Pass rewards program at the Steve Madden store in SoHo. If you’re in their rewards program, you receive 25% off during your birthday month. The only ‘catch’ with this one is that it’s only valid online and not in stores. Here’s a pic of the boots I picked up!
I have not received my email for this one yet, but the OV site says anyone who signs up for their newsletter and puts in their birthday receives an email on their actual b-day for $10 off.
This is always one of my favorites! Anyone in the Anthro Perks program receives 20% off (up from the 15% that was offered in years past) at the start of their birthday month. I already picked up these adorable salt and pepper shakers … I’m obsessed with Anthro’s bistro line.
Out of all the discounts in this post, this one is the largest. You simply show your ID at the register of any Kendra Scott store and receive 50% off! This offer is valid in store only.
Signing up for the ASOS newsletter will get you 10% off for your birthday. Now that I’m not a college student, I’ll be using this one since I don’t receive the student discount anymore.
